What Can We Count On?

My first note in over a month!  The time off was wonderful and it has been good to get back in the groove of work.  Thank you for your prayers for me and my family during this much-needed vacation.

One of today’s tasks includes finalizing the script for our congregation’s ad at the Cozy Theatre.  I think the theme will be living into an uncertain future.  It continues to be an unsettling time, and so much about the future is unknown.  But what can we be certain of?  We are loved deeply by God.  In the person of Jesus Christ, we have been freed from sin and death.  We are called – and will continue to be called – to love and serve our neighbors.  Lean into those core truths about yourself and the church … and let the rest take care of itself.
