Thanksgiving Blessings!
I’m going to take a brief break from the Catechism to bring greetings appropriate for the week we find ourselves in. This week is our nation’s day of Thanksgiving. So let me simply pause to give a word of thanks. I am grateful to God for the continued joy of serving as Immanuel’s Lead Pastor. I am thankful to all of you for your continued faithfulness to Immanuel’s mission and ministry. And I am thankful on a personal level for all the good gifts of daily life entrusted to me.
May your own celebration of Thanksgiving be filled with joy, blessings, and faith!
P.S. – we have some really exciting Wednesday evenings coming up for people of all ages. On December 1, in addition to a soup supper at 5:30 and worship at 6:00, we’re going to make Christmas treats at 6:30. The next week, we’ll bring those treats over to Humphrey Manor and do some caroling. Hope you can join us!
