It has been quite a week. Actually, I don't remember much about the week. I think Monday through Thursday were pleasant enough. But the weekend of hard work has left me with amnesia. On Friday, we went to Alexandria to get some supplies for our new rooms. We got paint and carpet. On Friday afternoon, I primed the walls and we spent the evening with friends. A good time. The big work began right away on Saturday. We moved everything out of the 3 bedrooms, painted all the walls in Amsale's room, two of our walls, and laid carpet in all three. We moved everything back in, and nearly died of exhaustion. We were still working at 11pm last night. Somewhere in there, the kids ate and took baths, naps, etc. But it was a full weekend of work. The house looks awesome, though! It's like a new house. It will be fun getting used to the newness.

But the news of the weekend had to be from this morning, when Eshetu lost his first tooth. I read, "Moose's Loose Tooth" and then he asked me to pull out his loose tooth. It was really loose, so I just pulled it out. A little blood, a lot of smiling, and now there's a gap where a tooth once lived. He's very excited to put it under his pillow and get some cash!

Anyway, we did have church yesterday -- and a full house besides! Here's my sermon:

Anyway, we've got Lent prep, newsletter stuff and the usual work this week -- and no projects at home for a long time!

And that's the news from Browerville.
