It was a lovely week last week. Soup suppers and evening prayer got underway and I felt prepared and at ease giving the first of my "Sacred in the Secular" meditations. We had a nice weekend with the kids, traveling to see Audrey's grandparents in Clinton on Saturday. We went out to eat with the whole gang on Sunday at Subway and the kids did great there, too. We spent yesterday afternoon chipping away at the ice on the driveway and cleaning the house.

Sunday worship was nice -- though I struggled with the wireless mic. I think I finally got it fixed yesterday afternoon, though. We'll see. Anyway, here's the sermon. See if you can hear the wireless mic actually fall to the ground during my sermon:

This week, I've got a couple of funerals (actually, one already happened today -- the other is this Saturday). In between, I've got the second of 5 mid-week sermons to finish. I can taste the soup already.

And that's the news from Browerville.
