What an incredible week! The drama of the three days unfolding, the weather turning warm(er!), the exciting conclusion to The Masters ...

At any rate, we had a very nice weekend here at Zion and in our home. 245 people came for Easter worship (two services). They were treated to brass music, lilies, a chance to shout about Christ's resurrection, and a mediocre sermon from me! Actually, I think it went pretty well. I recorded the 7am version. I'm not preaching to an empty room. It's just too early for people to laugh -- or even cough, apparently! By the way, I was struggling with a cold-type thing since Good Friday, which made my voice quite horse. It was even worse at the 10am! Listen at your own risk!

In other news, I solved a major crisis this morning. Teshe came into my room nearly in tears. When I asked him what was wrong, he said, "I can't open my drawer socks in my hand." He had a whole handful of socks from the laundry basket he was trying to put away, but he couldn't open his drawer with his hands full. And it was apparently too early to think things through very clearly, so Dad helped him put down his socks and open his drawer. Hero!! I hope that's my biggest problem to solve all day.

And that's the news from Browerville.
