Another rich and full week around here. Last week, I spent a lot of time in my office again, getting things written for the end of the year. We had a year-end confirmation party out at the city softball fields, which was fun. On Thursday, I spent a lot of time at the hospital in Little Falls with a man we thought was dying, but has since rallied quite well.

On Sunday, we had a lovely Mother's Day worship, which included our annual pie auction, which was well received, as usual. The Gideon's made a presentation as well. Here's my sermon on Acts 8:

As for the rest of the day, we had a nice lunch, a full afternoon of inside and outside projects, and a fire outside after the kids went to bed -- we listened to our New Testament for about 40 minutes. I highly recommend this method of consuming the Bible!

This week, I had a lot of preparation to do to get ready for a wedding, Baccalaureate, and synod assembly.

And that's the news from Browerville.
