A rich and full week again last week.
Had a chance to chaperon a field trip with Bereket and the lower elementary kids. Lots of fun. Very educational. Hard to believe he's finished 1st grade already.
Prepped for Bible school -- which is now moved to a later date because of a scheduling conflict with our baseball team. I am really ready early now!
Had a nice day of visiting on Thursday with a man having an ablation and pacemaker and a different aging gentleman in a nursing home for the time being on the way home.
Wrote a sermon a day late on Friday while the kids napped.
Hosted all kinds of family for a special weekend as my youngest two were being baptized. It is a great joy to baptize your own children to be sure. Afterward, we hosted all who gathered for lunch, which included traditional Ethiopian dishes as well as some traditional American ones! By the time family left around 3pm, it was time to crash!
Oh -- and worship was wonderful. We had a drama, sign language, and my first sermon on the book of Acts. Here it is (recorded at another time because of a recorder mishap):
And that's the news from Browerville.
