Happy birthday to me!

It's a few days late, but I thought I would finally wish myself a happy birthday, adding myself to the nearly dozen people who wished me a good day. I turned 34 on Saturday, which means my actual age is getting ever close to the age I appear to be -- which according to my confirmation students is somewhere between 42 and 57. In other news, I really enjoyed the long weekend, but now it's time to get back to work. And what an exciting week it is. Bereket starts 2nd grade today, I meet with confirmation kids and families on Wednesday, Rally Day is this Sunday, and we have a post-game part for the teens on Friday after the football game. And let's not forget, the VIKINGS play in just a few short days.

By the way, I did preach on Sunday. Here's a sermon about the life of the Apostle Paul, suffering servant for the sake of the gospel:

And that's the news from Browerville.
