To those of you coming here looking for another episode of, "Nate preaches," I am sorry to disappoint you. The batteries must have run out on my recording device before I could say a word (either that or my sermon was so utterly horrible that there wasn't enough substance there for it to stick to the tape -- of course, I wasn't using actual tape; just bothering some electrons. But I digress).
As I write, the snow is still falling here. We got quite a few inches of the light fluffy stuff that drifts and blows all over the place. School is canceled today. I am at work, trying to get ready for a council meeting and for Lent, which starts sooner rather than later.
In other news, my dad came through knee surgery quite well and is doing well in his therapy. Each day, his range of motion improves and the pain becomes more bearable. And he keeps losing weight, too! Soon, I'll be the heaviest Loer male on the planet. Dream big!
And that's the news from Browerville.
